1st Annual University of Utah Physician Assistant Program Four Person Scramble Saturday, June 25, 2010 Salt Lake City, Utah Join us for a morning of fun, golf, contests, and prizes followed by lunch, music, awards, and silent auction. Registration still available! $75 per golfer or $300 per team! Gather your friends, family, and co-workers to support University of Utah Physician Assistant Program and help raise money for the Students for Students Scholarship Fund, designed for future PA students that have shown a commitment to humanitarian work through their volunteer experience with underserved populations. Schedule 7:00am: Check In and practice 8:00am: Let the Games Begin- Shotgun Start 1:00pm: Lunch, Music, and Silent Auction 2:00pm: Awards and Prize Presentation Scramble Format: On each hole, each team member tees off and the best drive is selected by the team captain. Each member then plays a second shot within one club length of where the selected ball lies. The Shots must be played in like conditions. (Example: a drive chosen from in the rough must be played from the rough). This process is repeated until the ball is holed. Handicaps, Tees and Special Rules- - Mulligan Sale- Each player can purchase one mulligan apiece for $5. The mulligan may be used anywhere on the course, and anytime during the course of play. When a mulligan is used, the player's ball returns to the previous lie and the player can "redo" their shot without penalty. Players may also give their mulligan away to another player, if they so choose.
No handicap required. That said, No "Ringer" teams! We are all here to have fun! Each player on the team must contribute at least 3 drives.
Registration: Registration is $300per team of four , or $75 per individual player and team mates will be arranged for you . Fees include 18 holes with cart, Range Balls, Goody Bag, Game Package, Lunch and Awards. Registration is on a first come first serve basis.
